DONE AND DUSTED: EDGAR LUNGU IS ZAMBIA’S SIXTH PRESIDENT AFTER GETTING 55% OF THE VOTES CAST AND HH GETS 42% ACCORDING ZIN PVT

Chag manPF President Edgar Lungu is the winner of the presidential elections according to Parallel Voter Tabulation undertaken by the Zambian Intelligence News. Mr. Lungu has scooped the republican presidency after garnering 55% of the valid votes cast against his closest rival of the UPND Mr. Hichilema’s 42%. These findings are premised on 98.5% of the votes so far brought to the fore as monitored by the Zambian Intelligence News (ZIN) Parallel Voter Tabulation. The ZIN managed PVT has also revealed that the average voting participation vis-à-vis voter turnout was between 30 to 38 per cent with PF strongholds recording the lowest after the party’s campaign machinery failed to re-ignite and excite the larger segment of its voters to turn out. Additionally, the ZIN PVT has also revealed that Edgar Lungu failed to re-garner a large portion of the PF support base that was charmed and attracted to the party by the Late Sata’s Charisma laden electoral machinery. Other findings of primacy by the ZIN PVT include the discovery that the UPND supporters turned in massive numbers largely on account of the well oiled electoral campaign that the party laid out. The UPND also recorded significant gains in new areas at the expense of the demise of the MMD which has been largely a shadow of its former self. The figures below give a detailed numerical outline of the ZIN PVT findings.

EDGAR LUNGU 55%
HAKAINDE HICHILEMA 42%
TOTAL NUMBER OF VOTES CAST: 1, 080, 454
PF: 589, 101
UPND: 454, 103
MMD: 9,997
FDD: 8, 766
NAREP: 3, 712

  2. it is not good to conlude that Edga has worn when we have a lot of UPND strong hold not yet anounced. if HH wins please accept the results security wings you owe it to God and the Zambian people don’t bring confusion. if you rush to provide security for Edga on assurance that he has won, what happens if he loses. there are higher chances of UPND scooping these elections. wait do not misled the world on selective results so far reported. Zambia is not lusaka and copperbelt mind you even in lusaka where UPND was not a factor in 2011 he has added a lot of votes. what has happened is that where PF was strong in 2011 he UPND has gained additional votes do to the wrangles that characterised PF and where UPND was strong he has mantained with high voter turnout. be realistic what reason is there for Edga to win these elctions with above analys. wait… We pray to God so that those that are supposed to mantain peace shall not cause anarcy in the country be patient..
