Speaking when he featured on Petauke’s community radio station, Kambwili said he would rally behind the candidate the party would settle for in the election slated for 30 th June.
On monday, the PF National Youth Chairperson had advised junior members of the ruling to desist from issuing statements against senior party members.
And the Information Minister said only party President Edgar Lungu and PF Secretary General Davies Chama were the only authorities that could respond to him together with members of the Central Committee on party matters.
Commenting on the impasse that has rocked the ruling Patriotic Front, Kambwili said junior party members should follow the laid down channels of communication in the party.
The Outspoken Roan Member of Parliament said that he ruling party had party structures in place which junior members should adhere to and not jump the line to be noticed.
Controversy has erupted in the ruling Patriotic Front over the decision by former Transport and Communications Minister Dora Siliya’s decision to join the party with Kambwili being one of the lone voices to vehemently oppose her entry.
The Information Minister is currently in the Eastern Province on a tour of duty.
