M’membe, Funga taken to High Court for exposing Kaizer Zulu’s corruption

Chag manThe Lusaka Magistrates Court has committed to the High Court, the case in which Post Newspapers Proprietor Fred M’ Membe and Reporter Mukosha Funga are accused of publishing classified information.

This was after the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions issued the committal certificate for the matter to be taken to the High Court.

Magistrate Humphrey Chitalu informed the accused persons to stop appearing in the subordinate court.

Meanwhile, the prosecution team amended the indictment to change the dates when the offense was allegedly committed.

This application to amend the indictment was allowed as there was no objection from the defense.

The two are in court for exposing corrupt activities that are being carried out by Edgar Lungu’s political advisor Kaizer Zulu.
