POLICEPOLICE have launched investigations into a case of aggravated robbery/murder which occurred between May 17 2016 and May 18 2016 at Angeles nite club (Keys centre) in Kanyama.
Police deputy spokesperson Rae Hamoonga in a statement stated that the incident happened between 23:00 hours and 06:00 hours.
“It is alleged that unknown number of criminals attacked the three security guards on duty killing one of them identified as Peter Phiri aged between 30 and 35. The other two identified as Nyambe Liswaniso Kainga and Sikombe Evans aged both aged between 50 and 60 have been seriously injured and are nursing wounds at the University Teaching Hospital,” Mr. Hamoonga stated.
He stated that the criminals went away with two flat screen televisions and undisclosed sum of money.
He named that owner of the night club as Onilly Woods Sakala of Matero.
“The body of the deceased is lying in University Teaching Hospital Mortuary,” stated Mr. Hamoonga.
