hotInside sources at the PF laden HOT FM radio station have informed the Zambian Intelligence News that the recent exposure regarding the radio station’s bias towards the PF has embarrassed the owners of the station. In what has been termed as a self cleansing gimmick the sources have told ZIN that the Chavula’s are attempting to make a jock of the revelation by openly sharing about the accusations with members of staff. ZIN also understands that the recent expose’ has been an eye opener to some of the gullible members of staff who were not alert enough to see the unprofessionalism and bias that has been taken by their once credible and neutral radio station; “the point is that you guys have hammered and now Oscar knows that all those tuma connections and deals that he has with bena Kaizer Zulu have been exposed, he may not confess that he is affected, but we know he ifeeling the impact”, a source added. In the last few years HOT FM hit the pinnacle of radio in Zambia through the growth of an audience that generally acribed credibility to most of their political content. However, the radio station has since become a pit latrine of the PF because of dirty entanglements that the owners of the radio station have gotten into with state house. The state of affairs make the station’s radio presenters sound ludicrous and foolish each term they vouch for their radio station’s independence. The point is that it is long lost. In the same vein, sources at HOT FM have revealed that the Radio station has also experienced a significant reduction in the number of callers to the Red Hot Break fast show because of the station’s evident bias and support for Edgar Lungu and the Patriotic Front. The source said, the support being given to Lungu by HOT FM is increasingly hurting the image of the station and will have a significant bearing on the size of audience that has been built from collective hard work of staff at the station. Keep checking for more. We are still at it.
